Justification as an equal to the specified manufacturer for the above-referenced project. Bronze
Memorials Inc. manufactures architectural plaques in compliance with the requirements of Section 10 14 00 and applicable referenced standards. Products meet or exceed the performance, material, and appearance requirements as specified.
Basis of Equality
• Material: Cast bronze alloy meeting ASTM B584 requirements for architectural applications. Manufacturing: Domestic manufacturing utilizing permanent mold or sand-cast processes appropriate for exterior architectural plaques.
• Thickness & Dimensions: Plaques produced to specified nominal thicknesses, dimensional tolerances, and profiles indicated in contract documents.
• Finish: Standard architectural bronze finishes including satin, brushed, polished, and chemically oxidized finishes, sealed for exterior exposure.
• Graphics: Raised, incised, or etched lettering and graphics meeting specified legibility and durability requirements.
